my mom-in-law, 45 years ago taught me knitting! Sorry to say she is no longer with us. I made a vest that had straps over the shoulders that looked like an overall top. Needless to say, I would like to make another for my 15 yr old g'daughter, and don't have the faintest idea where the pattern is. If anyone has one, please send it to me. I "yarn" everyday, either k or c while watching tv

you might want to check on ravelry.com
it is kind of hard to find a pattern for someone who has made the item and knows what it looks like and you don't. especially that old of a pattern.
is there any way you can copy the pattern from looking at the vest that you have?
there are so many free patterns for vest to choose from you may find one that is easier and more modern. :) it always happens to me . I have a to-do list that you wouldn't believe. :D
