Found a crochet mermaid tail with crocodile stitch by Chelesy Burdt on Ravelry for $6.45
Also a free pattern to crochet by Elizabeth Cala on Ravelry also.

Not been able to find Elizabeth's free or a paid pattern for mermaid tail 🐹 on Ravelry,perhaps because I'm on the British one do you think?

I really don't know, but I will try to send you the link from here, maybe that will work. I not there is yarnutopia.com. It is a free pattern, but does not use the crocodile stitch. It is the one I have used for the ones I have posted here. Good Luck.

Great! Thanks mimizz,download was successful,I'll be able to start making mermaid tails after I've watched the 'how to' for the crocodile stitch, looks quite complicated but worthwhile! Just got to remember the stitches are different to what I'm used to! Many thanks again. ????

Not tech savvy either, but You have to pick the file from your computer first, be sure you have knitting paradise open first, then on the reply it says choose file, click on that, then click on your computer file, then right click and choose select and then then click on add attachment. It took me a while to figure it out, hope I didn't confuse you to much.
