I am going today to a medical center to get my first annual infusion of Reclast for my osteoporosis. Years ago I was on Fosomax which eroded my esophagus. Has anyone else tried the infusion? Blah on getting older!

Yes on the blah to getting older...as I sit here with the rice bag on my lower back.........

No on Reclast. I took Fosomax and that would probably explain the inflammation in my stomach. You are not suppose to lie down until 30 mins. after taking the Fosomax.

Yes, I have several friends you have had it. In fact, I think it is a yearly thing. It is not free under the health care system in Canada and costs between about $600 and $700, I believe. A small price to play for not becoming disabled.
