they got sheared last week, seem to be enjoying their new do's and now I have to get myself a reasonable picker/carder and guess I'll try a spindolyn before I purchase a spinning wheel...also been watching you tube on felting...I am so excited..my guys want felted boots.

they are...our grandkiddies love giving them treats and we are fixing them a kiddie pool this summer, so they won't look with envy at the ducks enjoying theirs...will post more pics then.

My daughter raised alpacas for a few years. I enjoyed being around them. Some of their antics were hilarious.....except when they spit!

In the top picture, they look like they're wearing knit neckwarmers! You can see texture on their necks and it looks like garter stitches to me.

Thanks everyone, I have wanted alpacas ever since seeing my cousins. Guess God heard cause last fall we were given a call to rescue these four and I know some would say they are only pet quality...but now they "happy and well cared for pet quality" Now to get them a permanent shelter built and more pasture fenced in to snack on and their pool Their names: Black one:Naomi/ white:Celeste(and she isn't deaf like some white ones are)Grey one is Gina and my sweet heart the brown one is Theresa Jean.
