Does anyone know where you can get the plastic parts for the Knitmaster 360 machine? I have just bought one of these machine with a ribber and it has come with the plastic casing that covers the built-in Knit Radar and also the other end that has the container for the tools, weights etc. smashed thanks to Parcel Force. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Dee

Yes thank you I am in the UK so would need someone here if possible. I have contacted the person who sold it to me and also the carriers but I have not heard from the carrier yet although the person who sold it said they will reimburse me but I think it is the carrier who should pay as it was obviously done by them throwing the thing around so I will wait to see what they have to say about it. It is not the first thing I have had arrive smashed I had a Ribber that was smashed up and also a Brother 950i had the end broken into little pieces.

Hi there

Thank you for the info I have sent them an email and am now waiting for a reply I just hope they can help or I am going to have to do the jigsaw puzzle and put the bits together to glue if of course they are all there. I did ask them before about the end for my 950i but they did not have any so I have just bought some of the plastic stuff we have been discussing and am going to try to make the end serviceable again with that.

Seeing that the machine that you are looking for parts for is a knitmaster you should get these from Metropolitan. They are agents for Silver Reed machines (formally Knitmaster) and they get parts direct from the manufacturers.
Because Brother no longer makes machines this makes there replacement parts harder to get. Having said that there is a company that is selling machines in China that are the same as the old Brother machines.
The machine that I got the plastic ends for was a knitmaster chunky, this had been damaged in transit also.

HI, I noticed on ebay there are some knimasters being sold for spares/repairs. I also have the 360 great machine. BSK is very helpful. I get everything I need from there. Their yarns are very good.If new to machine knitting you tube have some excellent videos to watch its like having the tutor with you. Good luck with your problem. Sandra uk

Hello Thank you I was just looking on ebay to see if I could get another for spares and make 1 out of 2 I think gumtree might be an option as well. I cannot put the machine away as I am waiting for info about making a claim and I dont want to lose all the bits that are everywhere. I have taken loads of pics also to prove the damage.

HI! Good luck. I had a machine delivered by UPS that had been obvioulsy ripped open and had packing material sticking out and tools stuck to the tape! The seller said to contact UPS and ups never decided if they were at fault so the insurence I paid for was a waste! I've been working to fix the damage now and find replacements for months.

Yhere is a magazine Nachine Knitting Monthly that is produced in England that has adverts for parts. I no longer get is as they are recyling patterns and it is very expensive in N.Z It is about 4pound in England.
