Party Sandwich ~ Serves 6
Ready in under 30 minutes

Once you make a giant party sandwich like this one, you'll wonder why you ever made individual sandwiches for a crowd.
Cutting up a single round loaf stuffed to the brim with smoked turkey and Swiss is way easier.

Ingredients
1 loaf unsliced round bread (about 9-inches in diameter)
butter, butter spread or margarine, optional
3/4 cup Italian, ranch, blue cheese or Thousand Island salad dressing
lettuce leaves (don't skimp)
1/3 pound sliced Swiss cheese
3/4 pound sliced cooked Virginia baked ham
1/2 pound sliced cooked smoked turkey
2 large tomatoes, sliced
1 green bell pepper, seeded and cut into thin rings, optional

Directions
Cut bread in half horizontally. Hollow out center of each half, leaving 1/4-inch shell.
Spread very thin layer of butter spread onto inside of each half. Spread dressing into each shell.
Line bottom shell with lettuce. Into bottom shell, layer cheese, ham, remaining dressing, turkey and then tomato slices. Top with lettuce and replace top shell.
To serve, place sandwich on cutting board and cut into wedges.
