I find most of my patterns on Ravelry. Some you have to pay for. Ravelry is a lot like this site.

The type of cape I am looking for is sort of Phantom of the Opera meets Eclipse. Even a short version that I can lengthen would be great. Thanks in advance.![]()
If you type in the search word "shawlette" on Ravely or Etsy you will also find interesing patterns.stardeer said:Have been surfing the web, looking for a pattern to knit a cape, but have not been able to find what I want, and am hoping you nice ladies might be able to help. Vampire Knits is available at Amazon for $11.34. There's, also, a Kindle edition. I'm sure you could find it at other book sellers, or auction sites, as well. The author is Genevieve Miller. Just go to Amazon and type the name of the book in the search engine. I'm not into goth, but I think it really has some neat designs in it. Changing colors and other minor changes make the designs more vintage than goth.courier770 said:While I don't know of any on the web, I do know of a book that has several capes in it...I've run across this book at several book stores "Vampire Knits"..sound Gorey but it really isn't. Sorry I do not have the author/designers name on the tip of my tongue. I'm currently working on a very "intense" cape but it is a celtic pattern and likely not what you are looking for.
