That is the best I could do for a picture. Search 'criminal Minds' to find TV web site. And look for last week's episode. Or download this picture and enlarge to view.

Anyone have a twitter account? (I don't twitter) 'Garcia' has a twitter account, maybe she knows where the shrug(vest) came from that she wore in the episode.

I loved it the second I saw it. I wonder how we can find the pattern. I'll go on the website and see what I can find out and report back.

I found Criminal Minds/CBS site. They have a feedback feature and one of the choices was "request" so I asked them to send me the information about the shrug. Who knows if they will answer, but if they do I will pass the information on immediately.

I've just made 2 of these shrugs. Very easy pattern once I saw it finished.

5 skeins Donegal chunky tweed yarn (pattern doesn't say to, but it can be doubled)
#11 - 32" circular needle

Cast on 240 stitches. Mark beginning of row and at stitch 120. *K2,P2* in the round for 8 inches

Decrease row: *K2tog* for 1 row (you will now have 120 stitches on the needle)

Using 60 stitches, *K1,P1* for 16 inches. Total length of piece will be 24 inches from caston row.

To bind off, you will join the saved stitches with the section you have just knit. With the right sides together, align 60 stitches on one side of the circular needle and the other 60 stitches on the other side.

Using a 3rd needle of the same size, knit both sets of stitches together, binding off as you go.

This is hard to imagine - could you post a picture of the finished shrug?

I'm not so good at pics. How 'bout this: picture a hula hoop (circular needles) with a full skirt around it. The back of the hoop, above the skirt has a rectangle knitted up. Bring the top of the rectangle forward to meet the front top of the skirt. Connect the rectangle to the front part of the skirt. Now flip up the front of the skirt to make a collar. Remember when the kids would wear their t-shirts behind their necks? The skirt part makes a continuous collar and hem with arm holes..... Does that even make sense??:) Check out Crystal Palace...girls ballet shrug. That one has seams in it under the arms. This one is seamless.
