Hi everyone, I'm new to the site and would like some help finding free knitting patterns for babies, toddlers and childrens sweaters that have pictures knitted in the front. Im looking for farm animals, zoo animals, cars, tricks, tractors, etc for boys and fairies, flowers, animals etc for girls. Im a nurse and about to start a very long stint of night shift and hope to get a lot of knitting done for my grandys. I will be using pure Australian wool in 4ply and 8 ply. I'm not up late it's only 1500hrs in Western Australia. Iv'e had a few days off and start night shift tomorrow night. So I was hoping to start a new project. I want to make my granddaughter some winter jumpers with cute pictures on the front. If all else fails and I can't find what I'm looking for I will attempt to convert some cross stitch patterns. As longs as I have a basic pattern for the jumper is should be just a matter of converting the cross stitch to knitting. I guess each cross should represent one knitted stitch. Im going to a much bigger town tomorrow morning to do my weekly shopping so will look around for a pattern book. We live in a small rural town where my husband is one of the police officers. He gets transfered and I follow. Craft groups is how I make freinds every time we move. Happy knitting . Cheers Sybil
