I have not heard of one and I am sure you are not a Dummy but are just having one of those days where nothing goes right...Is there something in particular you are needing to find out? If you post your question I will do my best to answer it for you...Plastic Canvas is another of my favorite hobbies...:)

Thank you for your quick reply. Was shown over the winter how to do plastic canvass, had trouble picking it up because I have a perceptual problem. My friend was trying to teach me a stitch on the slant. Had a very frustrating time because I can't do things on a slant, e.g. Bargello, in needlepoint. I don't see depth.
What would you suggest as a very BASIC plastic canvass project?

There is no need for an immediate answer. I'am an addicted knitter.
Thank you.

Strabismus? (cross eyed), I have the same problem too. Surgery straightened the eye muscles but my brain didn't get the message. Going down steps, even a couple, have to hang on to something and can't catch anything smaller than a beach ball - "keep your eye on the ball" - Yes, but which eye, they both see something different. Haven't tried plastic canvas - guess I'd better stick to knitting.

When doing on a slant, I always count over so many and then up or down so many. I don't think there is any other way to do it.

Have you tried a sampler yet - 3 inch squares and each is a different stitch. They are then put together around a bigger square. For some reason, that helped me out a lot learning the stitches. But I still made mistakes. People in my area don't seem to have an interest anymore in plastic canvas. So I switched to crocheting and knitting. For instance, crocheting with fun fur around the flip flops.

No I have not tried a sampler. I will probably, go to Michaels, to see if they have a class in Plastic Canvass, or if they can suggest a sampler I can learn on.
My friend started me off, doing a Kleenex box. It was much too difficult, I think for a novice.
Open for any other suggestions.
P.S. This is without a doubt, my favorite craft site.

Thank you all,for your wonderful web-sites & suggestions on

Plastic Canvass.

I will put that craft aside for now, as I'am busy knitting the All - in - One Baby sweater, with hat & bootees to match.

Hope to post the sets shortly.

Thank you everyone, once again.
.
I have looked into all your suggestions. Between them all, I should be able to figure out Plastic Canvass.

As I have written previously, love, love, Knitting paradise..
