I have this great sweater book by Bergere de France. My niece, Dana, and I were looking through it and she really liked this poncho style shruggesque sweater. So I proceeded to knit it for her. Somethings were a little lost in the translation, but on the whole not bad. Anyway, I struggled being kinda in the novice category for the time being. It turned out pretty well. I brought it over to her last night and she was thrilled. I had her toss it on real quick for a picture but she didn't have time to put something nice on underneath as I had to go babysit and I was already late. The picture without her in it looks like the sleeves are a different color, but that is not the case. I used Ice yarn in Master Alpaca. I enjoyed the challenge as always
