I kinda got turned off donating. I've donated baby afghans to the local hospital. I didn't even get a thank you when I dropped them off. So I tried a homeless shelter, and a women's shelter, to no avail. My stash outgrew its room, so I thought I'd pack some up and give to a senior center. Good luck with that around here, nobody wanted it, and it was good yarn and I had picked only complete hanks/balls. So I ended up packing it and a couple of knitting needles that I don't use anymore and brought it to Goodwill.
