These are my 2 firsts and 1 second for my knitting at the Port Alberni Fall Fair. I am so proud because believe me when I say, there are a lot of knitters in Port! These are all going as Christmas gifts to relatives in the UK, so now I can tell themthey are prize winning presents!!

No, not yet. I bought the pattern on Etsy as my DD is a major HP fan. I want to make her a mandrake to go with Dobby, who I knitted for her birthday. She is 14 and so not into boys or make up....thank the lord!!

Congratulations, I for the first time entered a afghan in our fair this weekend in Cheviot , Ohio and wond 3rd place. I just wished I had gone over to see what won 1st and 2nd. But I am so proud of myself because I always crochet my afghans but this is the first lace and cable one I have ever knitted.
