These have not been given away as gifts yet. I think I will keep the baktus for myself as it fits so nicely around the neck.

I am using up sock yarn on the baktus. one 50 gram ball does one side of the triangle.

Oh I love the bow ties. I know they are on my list of things to do. Maybe I will have to move them up in the que. Very nice, thanks for the pictures. I like purple and pink too. I think purple and red can not be far behind.

Annie's Attic had the pattern a while back and it's also in a book called One Skein Wonders. Made a dozen of these as presents, but like Applegranny's choices better than mine.

Very nice. I made a bow tie scarf that i really like in pink. my grand-daughter saw it and that was that - it's hers now! LOL

applegranny, thanks for the bow-knot link. I just checked on Ravelry and they have several free bow-tie/bow-knot scarves.
Charlotte, if you're interested in a pattern more like the green scarf, there is at least one on Ravelry. You'll need to set up a Ravelry account if you don't have one. They're free and so are many of the patterns on Ravelry.

Thanks for the link, applegranny. it's a lovely lace design too good not to have a go at knitting it. You have done beautiful work on all of your scarves. The two-tone pink/purple one is popular. I have made a cardigan in this colour yarn.
