Made this for my sister for Christmas! I used size no. 11 needles and did 5 stitches across. With the bigger needle it only took me a little over an hour total! I only used about 1/2 the skein and it's about 60 in. In length.

Beautiful scarf, I'll have to try using bigger needles. I usually use a size 7, but this scarf doesn't look so bunched up.I'm trying a scarf now where I cast on 70 stitches and do 9 rows.

Just finished the same scarf last night. I used #5 needles and 8 stitches. Did you have any trouble holding stitches on the needles? I finally used straight and held the end against me. Think it'll be a fun holiday accessorie.

Very nice! I did one with #10 needles and 10 stitches (I didn't want it to just be a "round" scarf. I ended up using 2 skeins but it turned out beautifully.

The name of the yarn is Starbella flash it is sold in Michaels now.

Yes the name is starabella flash. I did ever hole. There r two different ways to cast on. You can just kind of weave thru the top holes it there's another way that's hard to explain. You can Google it & several videos pop up for making ruffles scarves. Sorry I'm not much help.

No problem! Figured I'd experiment w/ a bigger needle since I was a little unhappy with how my first one turned out. I think with the next one I will do a few more stitches across using the bigger needle!
