Hi has anyone come across a free knitting pattern for one of those scarfs with sleeves, seem to be able to find lots of crochet free patterns but not knitting ones . Any advise appreciated.
I've worked with 2 patterns that you might consider to fit this bill, but one, I'm pretty sure was a paid pattern, called "schleeves" (might not be spelled right, might not be a c in it). I've not knit it but is much like a shawl with sleeves. The other is really a shrug and I've done it twice and like wearing them. You knit a back/top piece, fits closely with body, then you pick up stitches along opposite sides and knit out for quite a distance, sew an underarm seam but leave the last 4 or 5 inches not sewn. On one I knit the 2 inches of ribbing around the edge that frames back, underarms and front around back of neck and on the other (which isn't done yet) not planning on doing that. Hope this helps.Hi has anyone come across a free knitting pattern for one of those scarfs with sleeves, seem to be able to find lots of crochet free patterns but not knitting ones . Do you have a name for the second pattern?I've worked with 2 patterns that you might consider to fit this bill, but one, I'm pretty sure was a paid pattern, called "schleeves" (might not be spelled right, might not be a c in it).
