Seven-Layer Salad - Serves 4 - 6
Time 10 minutes
Toss together the pretty, layered ingredients just before serving.
Ingredients
1/2 head iceberg lettuce, chopped or thinly sliced
4 red bell peppers, chopped
1/2 cup thinly sliced green onions
8 hard-boiled eggs, peeled and halved
1 1/2 cup shredded cheddar
1 cup frozen peas, defrosted
6 slices cooked bacon, chopped
Freshly ground black pepper
Ranch dressing, for drizzling
Directions
In a large trifle dish or serving vessel, layer lettuce, peppers, green onions, eggs, cheddar, peas, and bacon.
Season with pepper.
Drizzle with ranch before serving.
