I whipped up a lace wrap to wear to a wedding. It's plenty long but really isn't wide enough so I want to aggressively block it width wise. I don't want it to feel rough against my skin so I thought about using spray starch on the public side to help it keep its openness. What do you think? Also, I know there must be a better starch. Any ideas? I'm using Tahki yarn with metallic, nylon, mohair. (I lost band...duh)

Damn autocorrect...not shoddy...should I.
Anyway thanks for the advice. I blocked it yesterday. I hadn't thought about how the mohair would be affected. Since I could always rewash it, I lightly sprayed it with stuff I had got at Joann's. Not stiff like starch just provides a little body. Turned out nice. I'll post pics later.
Thanks to you all.
