My baby boy is 20 today! He is my first and only son, after him I had 3 girls! It's odd but mentally I feel the same age as him and, although I am his mother I feel like his friend too, especially as he is now living and working away from home. Of course I worry about him, I am only human, but it is a lovely feeling having the eldest doing well. All those mistakes a first time mum makes obviously didn't do him any harm!!!
Number one daughter will never leave (darned Autism) but two and three have a good few years left at home. And all those foster babies waiting to be loved will be welcomed wholeheartedly!

As the saying goes you are only as old as you feel.
Seems you feel young.

Age is a state of mind.

I have not decide what I will be when I grow up.

There are so many more.

So don't let it be, you are a spring chicken lady.

My daughter is 45, and my son is 42 in November.

My eldest grandson is 21, and I have a great granddaughter of 3yrs old, so no, I don't think you need to feel old at all.

My eldest daughter (first born) will be 41 on September 24th..same age as your son! I have two other children, 35 and 31...the 31 yr old is still at home..only son! I have 2 granddaughters, one just turned 17 today and the other one will be 4 yrs old tomorrow!! Busy month for birthdays.
Do I feel old? Yes, hubby and I wish we could retire now, but have a couple of years to go yet.

In my opinion, "old" is all a matter of perspective - NOT number of years you've been alive.

I was married at the age of 16, ALL of my children (5) were born by the time I was 25. I've been divorced 2 times, now happily single, have 11 Grandchildren (35 - 3 years old)and 6 Great Grandchildren and two more waiting to be born. I was told by one of my Grandaughters I was her "Best Friend", my own children call me at least once a week (the 3 that live in other States), and I see my other 2 children every single day!!!! I am always on the go to social events either with my family, or best friend, and travel to visit with my children out of state. In fact, I'm so busy that I hire someone to maintain my lawn and gardening because I am very seldom at home to do it myself. My age is 76 - I feel the same way as I did when I was 25 BUT much wiser and with more weight! Live life to the fullest and you will never get "old"!

My oldest daughter is 47, the next one is 45, the third one is 41 and the youngest just turned 21. I have 9 grandchildren and 4 of them are older than my youngest daughter.

My thought's on aging at the moment?

No way !

My great grand-daughter is twenty eight, her brother twenty five and their younger sister twenty one. Do I feel old, HUH, only in the mornings when its time to get up and my bed clings. My mind stills thinks I`m in my youth still and they all say that I don`t act like a `Granny` should, however that is.
My great-grand children come to see me through choice rather than their grandmothers, whoops! As I do things interesting with them. let them make pizza`s, walk the dogs, etc. and they keep me young in mind.
You`re as young as you want and at this age all I can say is thank God I made it this far, don`t ever let me get a misery. Life should be lived and enjoyed, because no-one ever got out of it alive. ROFL
