I call these my "Cotton-Candy" socks. I'm keeping them. Of course my GD loves them, but they make me smile.

The pattern is free from Skacel. The link is http://www.skacelknitting.com/s.nl/sc.2/category.249806/.f and I used Koigu KPM in colors magenta and sky blue on US 1 and c/o 64 as it says in the pattern.

These make me giggle!! Love them!
GoingFurther,

If I were to cast on 64 stitches instead of 60 stitches, the circumference would be 1/2" more since my gauge using that specific yarn is 8 stitches per inch on a size US #1 needle. If the recipient of the socks has a large calf or large ankles, then the 64 stitches could be appropriate.

The number of rows in the foot area will determine the length of the foot. If possible, it is always a good idea to measure the length of the foot and adjust accordingly.

Hope this help.

Thanks Amy. I always enjoy your comments and posts. They are vey helpful. No matter how old you are or how long you've been knitting, there is always room for more information.
Nice colour switch and they look great!
Really cute... nice work on the two tone heel.

They are beautiful. My daughter would love these. What size shoe does casting on 64 st. fit? I am size 7 and usually only cast on 48.
I'm an 8.5 shoe size.
Love them, love the colours, love the heel!!! Love them! Thanks for the link.
