I too would like to know. Have heard of these but what are they?

soakers were used before plastic pants to cover cloth diapers. Now known as diaper covers and used as decorations for disposable diapers. Were made of wool and got pretty stinky. Hard to wash the smell out, but it did save some of grandpa's shirts.

Well, thanks for educating me! For the life of me, coukd nit imagine what they were. I have made diapers covers and didnt realize I was making Soakers. Now have a fun, new word to my vocabulary.
