Spaghetti Sauce ~ Kathie Lee Giffords' ~ Serves 10
Ready in 1-2 hrs

Ground beef, onions, and garlic sautéed in olive oil and mixed into a spiced tomato sauce turn some plain spaghetti into a pleasing pasta dish.

2 tablespoons olive oil
2 pounds ground beef or turkey
1 large onion, chopped
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
32 ounces tomato sauce
1 large can tomato paste
1 cup dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon oregano

Brown meat, onions and garlic in olive oil.
Drain and add remaining ingredients.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 1-1/2 hour.

Nutrition ~ 321 calories, 22 grams fat, 13 grams carbohydrates, 19 grams protein per serving. This recipe is low in carbs.
