Here's what I made a couple of years ago with some Aunt Lydia's Rug Yarn that I had.

I don't consider myself a crocheter, although I've tried. I was actually practicing crochet stitches (sc, dc & hdc) when I decided to try my hand at making a throw rug.

Of course, I didn't use a pattern, I just worked it!

Aunt Lydia's Rug Yarn is kind of hard to find, and I had this yarn left over, after I knitted some bedroom slippers one Christmas!

Hi Irene, the colors you used are lovely together. It's a great way to use up scrap yarn and useful too! Great work and at least you tried with crocheting..I can't do it. Thanks for sharing!
