I was recently wandering around Walgreens while waiting for a prescription and (as usual) hit the "whatnot specials" aisle. I came across fabric under-the-bed shoe organizers that had clear plastic zippered covers. I bought several, brought them home moved my yarn from a hard-to-store big plastic bin and sorted it by project into each of the ten little compartments. Under the bed it went, and for $20 I packed away a whole lot of yarn in very little space! Now all I have to do is pull it out by the handle, grab and go -with no more rooting around or tangled skeins! I used one of them for project "left-overs."

Someone probably already found and shared this idea, but since I'm feeling clever for my "discovery" I thought I'd share.
