As a swap co-ordinator, I would like to thank everyone who "plays fair" in the swaps. These are the one's who say "thank you", will post a photo if they can, put together a lovely swap package with love and care, show their dedication and love to the swap through the packages they send.

However, I would like to add, that while sending items from your stash is acceptable, PLEASE only send items that are in new condition only. For example, if you have a pattern that your buddy may like, but it is all dog-eared, etc., take the time to photocopy it. No one minds getting a copy that has not been through the war. Or if you are sending needles or hooks and the like, PLEASE ensure they are "gently" used. No rust, broken tips, etc.

Do what you can, but please be kind,
If you take that extra step, we really don't mind.

Thanks bunches,
Laurel Anne

As a swap coordinator, I ditto this. It takes so little time to say thank you and means so much. And my ladies have done very well with their packages...

The Form that we filled out don't you think it will be a good idea to include your pets or if you smoke. So, when matching up partners you would avoid a partner with pets to a person who is allergy to smoke or animal fur.

I include these questions in my form. I ask things like: allergies, is your home smoke-free, do you have animals / pets, do you like scented items, what do you collect, plus other questions. There is 29 in all. I am also thinking of adding: Are you ok with packages coming from a non-smoke free home? and Are you ok with packages coming from a home that has pets?

I try to cover all the bases.

I should join your swap I think the reason why I didn't because it would be international am right on this? I'm from Wisonsin. I hate to say this but the last swap pkg. I got had so much fur on it and it wasn't fun fur either. I'm allergy to some cat fur so I had to get rid of the pkg. as fast as I opened it. I wasn't going to take any chances. I do have friends on KP who I know that have cats but whatever they made me it was clean.

Although it is called a Cdn Swap, I do have a couple of ladies that are in the US. If you are interested and wouldn't mind swapping with us Canadians as well, LOL, send me a PM. You are welcome to join.
