Hi
About swaps Why can those who do swaps not take time to send a thank you instead of having to be reminded this happens a lot on the swaps Since I have being doing swaps I have always gone to town with a list of things that my swap partner has said they like and bought it and sent it on time as well always put on the page to show what I have received so that all members have some thing to look at but not one swap that I have sent have been put on at all .
and I always have to send a pm to ask if they got it does anyone else feel this way ?

This is NOT the way to behave! What is the matter with people these days?
I have stopped doing swaps not only for this reason, but they seem to be getting a bit out of hand.
4 balls of yarn, 6 pattern leaflets, bag of lollies, soap, stitch markers, knitting needles, notebook, facewasher, measuring tape, bookmark and small purse.....ALL in one swap.
Postage on top of that kind of spoils the fun.

Hi
I dont mind what I send or what people send its the Thank you bit that upsets me It makes you feel that your swap is not good enough to show I think in my mind that the swap should be Knitting or crochet items and nothing more .
perhaps wool // pattern // needles .. or crochet things and a small thing they have made if they do that in stead I think there is a limit of all the tissues we collect and note books and sweets which I am diabetic and hand creams I think if it was kept to just the products for knitting a crochet would be better dont know what other people think ?
I do agree with keeping it to yarn or hooks or needles or stitch markers etc. Even a motif or flower or washcloth for instance (made by the giver) would be great!

I know you take a lot of trouble Vera and are very generous with your swaps. I know ..........we do our own swaps!!!

I am always concerned that I don't send a good enough swap as some of the pictures I see on KP are very generous!
That is what I meant with my post. It is certainly generous and very kind, but then I feel it puts the pressure on to keep up.
