Teriyaki Turkey Sliders ~ Makes 18
Ready in under 30 minutes
These tiny turkey burgers make the perfect slider.
Serve as an appetizer or multiple ones for a meal.
If the turkey mixture is too soft to form the burgers, try refrigerating it for 30 minutes first.
Make sure they are cooked through but don't overcook or they may end up dry (since turkey is very lean).
Ingredients
1 1/4 pound ground turkey breast
3 slices bread, crumbled
2 tablespoons dried chopped onions
2 eggs
1 1/2 tablespoon sugar
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ground ginger
18 slider buns
Directions
Combine the turkey, bread, onion, egg, sugar, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger in a food processor.
Pulse process until the mixture is combined (but not completely pureed).
Heat a greased skillet over medium heat.
Form the turkey mixture into 2-inch wide patties.
Place on the hot grill and cook for 3-5 minutes per side or until cooked through.
Serve the turkey sliders on buns with any desired condiments.
