From the Fiber Factor comes this informative and interesting video of various designer's approaches to designing knitwear that "will sell" (knitting patterns). The 3rd designer, John Ravet shows us his creative journey of looking for inspiration in his designing of pattern stitches. He focuses on patterns for menswear and specifically, a man's classic cardigan. I love his different patterning for the ribbing and the next 5" beyond-which really holds interest for the eye. Terri Rosenthal extolls the virtues of "Kenzie" yarn, which she received free. Jodie Gordon Lucas intrigued me with her demonstration of the cast-on method called "provisional cast-on". Fun reading to go with your morning cuppa, eh?
