For those who are interested in some history of needlework. There are sections on knitting and crocheting among other types of needlework. The knitting section has some stitches that I had not seen before. About 575 pages total.

I am on this site all the time for school! They have audio books and many of the classics for my students who are getting tablets. But I have never thought to look for crafts, so I have not been expanding. I love vintage, and there are some great options here. Oh, for the time.....
