I made a dozen pot holders to give away at our girls craft afternoon. This is the thermal stitch in crochet. It makes a double thick stitch with one pass across. Love these and I use mine exclusively. These are made with Sugar and Cream. It is sturdy and makes them nice and thick. I used an H hook and chained 30 stitches. Here is a how to video.
