I love how cats and dogs can be mates.Sadly I had to have Patches mate Jessie dog put to sleep last month. She misses her so much and still goes looking for Jessie thinking she is behind closed doors around the house.

Everyone's cats are so beautiful. I have 3 fur-babies...an old tabby, Peepers, who is about 16-17 years old and 2 Norwegian Forest cats, Bogart and Rane (brother and sister), 3 years old. We love them to death. Bogart is very friendly and out-going, Rane is the Queen and comes on her terms and Peepers is just old!

Just can't help it ! Don't need a litter tray - probably couldn't get it in the UK anyway - but with all those pics of cats - I had to add mine!

(wonder why so many knitters have cats?)

I have 3 indoor cats! One finally inside after almost 10 years living in the wood pile. She loves not having to be out in the cold and is gaining weight.
All my 3 cats (above) were rescue cats. Molly was from a litter of ferals. The rescue centre took bets on how long it would be before I brought her back! 16 years later................ she's still here!
I got Freddie from an elderly gentleman who had found him in his garden and was on his way to the rescue centre - I intercepted him - 8 years ago.

All of our cats are rescues also. The sisters, Muffin and Puffin, were abandoned outside a local coffee shop. Naturally, I could not leave them there and they are now 8 years or more old. Wish we could have more in our house but at this time, this seems to be the most comfortable.

Anyone in Delaware County (western Philadelphia suburbs) good with ferals? My neighbor called last evening to tell me there is a momma and 4 kittens under her shed. She can/t won't take them under her wing. With 17 in the house, my hotel is full. The county SPCA is not taking any animals. There is a big political brouhaha going on while it gets sorted out.

Oh your cats are so beautiful. I see you have a main moon cat too. Aren't they special? My Tabitha acts so different from the rest of the cats. Like she is queen. They can make me laugh when I am sad. Thanks for sharing pics of your babies. I love seeing them.
My maine coon mix, Marquis has the perfect name. In the dictionary, his name means nobleman, Yes they are like royalty, has a sweet disposition, but he knows he's in charge.

Here's a funny little story for y'all. My youngest cat(I have 3) loves to carry her string toys from one room to another. She has several including the ones on sticks that she bumps up and down the stairs every morning and back up again at night and a cord from a pair of my daughter's sweat pants that she commandeered.
Well last week I start crocheting an afghan and forgot to put it away in my bag before I went to bed. The next morning I woke up with it in bed with me, she had carried it upstairs, pulling yarn out from the skein the whole way, at least I still had my work because luckily the crochet hook was still attached..... silly cat!!
That is so cute. They say they love their owners when they bring them presents
