Hello, I'll probably go to jail for even asking this. l But I saw something that really excited me this morning.... http://www.craftsy.com/class/my-first-toe-up-socks/10309?ext=20160816_3_Class_Promo-10309&utm_source=Craftsy%20Course&utm_medium=Internal%20Email&utm_campaign=All%20members-Course%20Activity&cuid=6562146&course_id=10309&initialPage=true&ym_id=1565751&smm_id=
I would LOVE to make these socks from the toe up but am not interested in the class or using the yarn provided. Anyone out there have a similar pattern they would care to share?

All ideas here are great. I'm just throwing this out in case anyone really likes those specific socks - Susan B Anderson (the designer/teacher of that class) designs practical, well-written patterns, and recently came out with a sock that may be that same one.

You can buy just the pattern for $5. http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/smooth-operator-socks

There's also a knit-along associated with it.
