Understanding pattern

I'm knitting a baby sweater (sacque) is worked inone piece to underarm. When I get to end of right side it says to cut yarn.
Neck shaping
row 1: Slip first 9 sts onto st holder, K5 do I attach the yarn that I cut? I just don't know what to do. and contiues on with pattern.
I hope you can help me.

Yes, attach your yarn and continue knitting. Leave yourself a nice tail (4-6 inches) so you have enough to comfortably weave in the end later. Make sure you also leave a comfortable length of tail when you cut.
