For anyone still following my travails and praying for me, the lastest update is my Sugery has been delayed till April 12th! Uuugghhh!!! If I were having it, as planned on March 30th, I would be home from the hospital, safe & sound, in my own little bed by then! But now I will be just going under the knife - which puts the whole recovery back 2 weeks! I was NOT a Happy Camper when I got that news. Not my Dr.'s fault or decision - 'scheduling!" Grrrrr!!!

So any special prayers can continue but now the BIG day is April 12th!

Thanx to all who are following my journey.

Love & thanx to all ~

I'm a believer that things happen as they are supposed to happen and when there is a glitch it is for some good reason.
Let's hope that is the case in your re-scheduling. Maybe this will give you an extra time or two with your husband before your surgery. Best wishes.

I have a friend who was on a 2 and 1/2 year waiting list for a hip replacement. she was in dreadful pain. about three weeks into that wait they rang and said they had a cancellation and to get to the Hospital ASAP. she went post haste and is a new girl after surgery! You just may be as fortunate.

We never know if a delay is a curse or a blessing. I prefer to just believe it is all in God's hands and it is for the best, although the waiting is hard. Wishing you a successful surgery and rapid healing.

Am following your journey with prayers. Maybe they can put you on a list to get moved up if there are any cancellations. Happened to me before. Meanwhile try to concentrate on other things than the upcoming surgery date. It will come soon enough and we are all carrying you on a bed of kind thoughts and prayers. jberg
