Hello, this is my first post. I may be looking for a needle in a haystack but I have seen knitted a baby cardigan in double knit. It is very 'square' but has a slightly frilled hem and knitted or crocheted flowers about waist height all in the same colour.

No, I haven't actually seen the pattern, just the finished article knitted, which a lady was buying buttons for! - it looks like a Debbie Bliss or similar modern pattern

I did a pattern search on Ravelry for a double knitted cardigan. There were only 39 listed, and most of them are for adults. But, here is a link to the ones that were listed:

Thank you so much for looking. I have found the pattern I was looking for on Patternfish.com - it was a Sirdar pattern
