I picked up this book at our library used book sale. Used books are donated by people who don't need or want them, and the library sells them for a donation. I usually come away with a small stack for $5.00.
I saw this knitting book and looked at the photos of the patterns, never even thinking to look at the text. Last night I looked through it, and it is not in English. My best guess is that it may be Dutch (Netherland).
There are 124 patterns in it, both knit and crochet.

I had a knitting book in Afrikaans and English, for the machine I bought when i was 15 with holiday-job money.

It said "Welkom in der neue wereld des kitsbreiwerk" and "welcome to the world of instant knitting".

Working out Brei means Knitting from that, I would say Dutch or Afrikaans.

It is Dutch and "De Hema" is a store it the Netherlands. Kind of like a 5 and dime store. If you need the directions to any pattern in the book, pm me, I can translate. I was born and grew up in The Netherlands.
