Usually watching documentaries on TV.

I like ancient history, geology, astronomy, and especially ancient aliens.
I love ancient aliens too, but that one professor desperately needs something done with his hair. I have caught myself thinking I wonder if that guy even owns a hairbrush while watching that show!! lmao

Dave Matthews Band -- was listening (and singing) to them today while I knitted. (LOVE them) Usually, though, I am sitting with DH watching TV.

Many times I listen to Alicia Keys, Santana, Maxwell or jazz. Sometimes it's the Rolling Stones. Other times Andrea Bocelli. I've got pretty eclectic taste in music, I guess.

Classical if I need to concentrate. When we watch hockey, I have to make sure it is something fairly easy as I tend to knit as fast as the action.

I listen to a radio station with the slogan 'we play anything!' That's pretty true, as long as it's rock, pop, classic rock, etc. That's during the day. I don't just knit to it-I read, sew, clean (when I have to) etc. At night I watch DVDs I check out from our library. Right now I'm going through all the seasons of Doctor Who from #9 on, & Torchwood.

I have pandora on my ipod and if I need to concentrate on a project I'll put spa or yoga music on. If I don't have to concentrate I'll put Celtic music on. I find I knit faster with the faster music. But less mistakes with the softer music. I also like Native American music, the kind mixed with nature sounds. I've found my tastes have mellowed with age.
