As much as I love this web-site I do wish that more of you would post pics of your adult knitting pictures. I look on the site everyday for inspiration but mainly see small items except for shawls and blankets. As beautiful as they are I do miss seeing us ladies in our knits.

What do other's think - maybe we just don't want to brag.

Yes, I agree. However, it takes far less time to create a baby sweater than an adult one. So, there are far fewer of them to post. I literally spend months on a single sweater, so I only have three or so items to post in a year. Others have already made over 100 items this year. I just skip the top down baby cardigans. I've seen enough.

I love to see all the talent big or small. Everything from knit and crochet to sewing and other crafts. I admire the sweater and shawl makers. Way beyond my ability at this time. And I love to see baby items and toys too.

Right now I have a baby boom in our family, so that is what I am mainly knitting. GD born in April, GS any day now, and niece in August. Had my fill of baby things. I have yarn for 2 adult sweaters, so hopefully will be starting on them soon. Also have one sock on the needles. The other one is done. I don't care for shawls because no one uses them in my family. I made so many scarfs and hats for last Christmas,so I am burnt out with them. I will be making infinity scarfs for Christmas. Going on vacation for 2 weeks, so I think I will get a pattern for the infinity scarf.

I enjoy looking at all the work by fellow KPers, but admit that most of my knitting is for me! An adult sweater does take longer to make, but worth the wait for an original piece. I will have to go back and find some pictures to post.

How about you posting pictures of some of your adult things to inspire us?

I'm totally commited to my charity knitting/crocheting - baby items and lapghans. I knitted a pullover vest for my brother eons ago and it took over a year!! I'm just that slow!! LOL

But I love all pictures. Yakisquaw, I love your sweater that you pictured. Very nice.

It's just a scarf, but the first time I used high quality yarn.
