after i make a knit and then a purl stitch the stitch look funny and uneven. If you look at the picture you can see what i mean. But if you look after the cable pattern it looks ok when i got from the purl to the knit. so why does this happen?

But it's not happening before the cable it's happening before the 2 purl stitches before I start the knots to cable

No I don't knit continental I hold the yarn in the palm of my hand I have good tension usually but it's when I switch from one stitch to the opposite. Thanks for the kind words roxycat. And the ladies at the library said the same thing and I am going to club tonigh and I am sure they will say it again. Lolmy favorite saying was from a older lady who said a man on a horse riding by couldn't see it.

How could you do that in the middle of a project though when you are purl 2 k 8 then opposite on the next row

Thy may have been a ripped out. All that is gone now and resume anyway
