i was over halfway done with a wingspan scarf when i was put permanently in a nursing home. they take all our income and allow us forty five dollars for our needs. i use my money for nourishing snacks for my 102 pound husband. i lost my shawl pattern and uncompleted shawl when a friend brought only our clothes and a few items also. now i found out that ravelry is charging six dollars for the pattern. thats way too much for me. do any of you dear kp ladies have a hard copy you can send to me at the nursing home. id be so grateful. i could reimburse postage. i do hopei hear from someone. God bless. cheryl gerich

I have also sent you a PM so looks like you will be spoiled for choice.
Good luck.

by the time i was well enough to go, the man who is our dear friend broke his hip and couldnt drive and then another friend went there and we were locked out with an eviction notice on the door saying i owed a months back rent. i lost everything except some clothes , my purse, and my tote bag with a little bit of yarn and a pair of size 8 knitting needles. every time i think about what i lost, i could just cry.

colleen im not really dumb but for the life of me i dont understand what....spoiled by choice....means. could you tell me.
Spoiled for choice, where I live, just means that more than one person offered the same thing and you had to choose.
I must remember that some expressions are maybe not universal.
Hope you enjoy getting your scarf done when you get the pattern.
I have had the Wingspan pattern for a long time but so far have not used it.
Maybe it should be my next project.
Have fun.
