yarn for doll hair

I would like to know what is the best yarn to use for doll hair? One I can brush and won't be curly? Any ideas or suggestions?

It could be "combed" with fingers, but not with a comb or brush.
To use yarn, you would need something really silky and a comb with very rounded, widely-spaced teeth.
