Who would of thought this to be a yarn holder?! The skein I'm using is very big and i needed something with depth and easy to use/pull my yarn thru. Completely forgot I've got this for or eggs, but don't use it anymore. So tadaaaa! It's a one handled trashcan bought for $2

When we bought it, it didn't say waste basket anywhere near it. I assumed it was for storage. We used it for our eggs storage for a while. Someone posted last week about a metal bucket she decorated. I needed something else to put my WIPs in and saw this. Tadaaa lol

Where did you find that. It is an excellent idea. Very light weight and will hold any size skein or more than one skein! Thanks for sharing.

If you go to Dollar tree, they have oval tubs, i think in different sizes, that you can use too.

Ever thought to use a milk jug as a yarn holder? Cut out a nice size piece opposite of the handle, leaving the mouth piece in tact. There you have a way to carry it and the yarn can go through the mouth piece...just an idea
