Just found this today on Elann's website, under Yarn. It lists hundreds (thousands?) of yarns by every manufacturer, even discontinued yarns. It provides info on yarn weight/gauge, content, yds per skein/ball, etc, and offers substitute yarns of similar factors. This is the best yarn info site I have ever seen.
