[Peach Orchard]

My daughter asked me to make her the Caribbean Blue Tee which calls for worsted weight cotton/wool blend yarn. She sent me acrylic. I don't usually swatch but thought I had better on this. However, I am still at a loss. Can this pattern be made with this yarn?

If it knits to the correct gauge, why not?

Because it doesn't have the weight of the cotton, it may not drape as the original. I hope she's not planning on being too active while wearing it though; acrylic 'breathes' as well as a plastic bag - not at all.

Perhaps you should just discuss this her and choose another, more appropriate yarn for her.
