This was my Olympics Challenge - I started casting on during the opening ceremony and the goal was for me to be finished by the time the flame was extinguished. I made it by a whopping 3 minutes. Well, at least it was finished off and on the blocking board...
Used black sock yarn from JoAnns and a lovely hank from A Million Stars, color name Merlot on size 7 needles. My first go-round with the Provisional Cast-on. Thankfully it was MUCH easier than I envisioned it to be.
