Thanks for all the great comments. He's adjusted wonderfully and we are so lucky. He is a great family member.

We just rescued Bud. He's the black one with the floppy ears. He appears to be a mix of Poodle and Shih Tzu and about 4 years old. He's a realy sweety and wants lots of attention but is adjusting well.

Seams are incorporated into a pattern for a reason --- structure and stability.
Don't be afraid of hand seaming, once you get the hang or it, it will be second nature. :-)
I would view the different ways to seam -- some are even invisible or near invisible seaming.

Thanks for the links. I too do not do well sewing seams together. These videos are real helpful.

I always take my needles...straight, circs, metal, wood. No problem. I've traveled to Israel & Russia. No problem. I like circs cause there is no issue with poking my neighbor. I'll be going to Israel next month and certainly taking my knitting for the long trip. The problem is I need to find a smallish project. Don't want to carry lots of yarn and lots of "finished" work.

I was born & raised in NYC. I hate to say it...don't waste your time on yarn stores. There are so many bettert things to see and do if your time is limited. Go to the theatre, Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, all the great museums, all the wonderful neighborhoods like SOHO, Chinatown, Little Italy, Wall Street...I could go on and on. And to say nothing of the wonderful restaurants. Enjoy your trip.

If you have other realtors showing your home than the one you listed with, you can change your contract to one that states your realtor is the only one that can show the home. Then your realtor is responsible for showing your home only.

Not a good idea. Really limits the showing ability. The goal is to sell the house.

I am a former realtor. I agree with many of the comments. Your realtor will receive payment once the house is sold. You should have a discussion with him/her. It is his/her responsibility to follow up with those who actually show the house to be sure that is has been left EXACTLY as it was when they came in. It is not his/her responsibility to clean your home. You might want to set that us to have someone come in periodically to clean. Good Luck. Having just been through that I understand completely.

Bosch...really quiet dishwasher and does a great job. i also have a Samsung refrigerator, the french door with bottom freezer and ice and water on the door. It's a top seller bought from Best Buy. Pick the features that you like. Many are made by the same company just sold under different names.

We too did high tea at the Empress. It was pricey, lovely and a must do when in the area.
