When I buy items that are in zippers bags (like sheets) I keep them and use them for my needles and other knitting items. But for my projects I use those conteners you get cat litter in the ones with the handles and snap on lids. I use nail polish remover to take of the lables all over the it than its just a white contanier and have on for each project I'm knittinge with all the items in it for that project. so I just have to pick one and start. Everything is in it. Now the yarn thats a different story lol that all over in storage boxes.

I know what you mean. sometimes I get side track and get up and do something that needed to be done before I started to knit. So what I do is before I start a project I find out how many rows I will be knitting, than I take a 5X7 card and number it on the amount of rows there are. than as I knit I cross off that number. and when I stop I know for the next time. if I stop on 7 than know I start on 8 than look at the pattern row 8 to see what is next.

I had the same problem with mine. Someone told me it was because I was left handed. Don't know why that would be the reason. But I just went and bought a set that did not come apart in differnt sizes and now I just knit away with no problem.

That is how I got mine from Fingerhut. I call them and they would not take it back so I call the phone number in the book that came with the machine. They sent me a new one and I sent the old one back to fingerhut and told them I did not like it, so I would not be charge for it. It took me 3 monlths to get it but worth the waite.

Thank you for that suggestion, Louise13. I'll look for the manual and phone #. I am pretty sure I did not save the box though. Just never entered my mind that the machine could be the problem. I've contacted Fingerhut, but it's been over a year since I've had the machine, so I'm not optimistic.

I'm trying to make one now. I did the back like the back of a sweater to shape the neck. than just went from the soulder line stright down in the front. next will but the sleeves on. Still have to figure this part out. I'm doing mine with size 10 needles because I want it to look open like lace. So far so good. The length is only just under the bust so its like a shrug.

I had that machine and problems took it back for a different one and had no problem with it so it might be the machine. Also I dont use the tension bar at all and drop very few stiches. If you go to fast you will drop stiches I found out. Good luck

I like my innovations knitting machine. It took me a bit to figure out how to use it as I would drop stiches. Took off the yarn guide and away I went. I knit with this machine for the homeless I make hats and scarfs all summer than in the fall go to the shelter and give it to them to hand out. On the scarfs I dorp every third stich and it make the scarf softer and gives it a good look. I went to utube and saw how to make a hat brim. Sure does make it look better. Good luck with your machine. Just take time and it will work.
