Would it be possible for double-knit? I would probably have to Kitchener the two sides together.

Just a curious inquiry.

Unfortunately not every topic a person thinks of can match ‘public’ opinion.

I happen to be in a Halloween mood and no one has commented on my observation. Move on and hope your next topic or comment is needed.

I had a pre-Halloween laugh at myself...sitting on the floor with a half-thawed beef roast, carving away/dividing up pieces so that I don’t eat my weight in protein.

Green knife in hand, half thawed roast...it is October! I will leave the rest of the image to y’all.

Now I need Melanie to show us what she has put together for this year!

Thank you, I will do that in a wee while. At the moment if I have to post a picture my SIL takes the picture with his phone then e mails it to me and I save it..easy peasy but I have to master the camera that is here for myself..

And some days the question of who/what is master is interchangeable????!

Says the techie who FINALLY got the right battery found for her android coolpad device!

I think I would rather see the pumpkins than a Christmas light show!

I did not know about the blood knot. I know from personal experience that extra twists on one or both levels of the surgeons knot insures no possible failure of the knot! Especially if dealing with silk finish/silk.

Or trying to sell the pattern.

I had my battery operated can opener die on me Monday/Tuesday.

Do you all think that this device below will suffice (if I do not cut myself!)??
Can opener?

I have crocheted for over 30 years (1 main reason I am avoiding the watching of the crochet ‘lesson’) and prefer knit or cable cast on. Less guessing on end length (no length wasted).

Scroll down the page and watch the crochet ‘attempt’. I am entertained enough with the knitting lesson.

I just read the entry for the crochet. I don’t want a day-long laughing session. One a day is enough!

Careful what you ask for?

I don’t know where GD lives...but if there’s a chance of winter in that area! I don’t think I would be moving from under the blanket!!!

Y’all have spoiled me! I have at least 2-4 more circular needle sizes...& I am looking for the larger than 3mm (7 needles! Do not faint—> didn’t need to shop for THIS size) size.

I suppose going down from 6.5mm I would have a modest collection if I just chose 2 each between 3.25 up to 6.5

Guesses on needle quantity?

I can't tolerate whole grain wheat of any type (brown or GMO white). Processed wheat (white flour) is fine, but no whole grain, even the "ancient grains" being touted by some are off limits for me. What really surprised me was my husband's doctor advising him to cut down his wheat consumption because it was causing his inflammation problems to worsen.

Hmmm...how much American Indian does he have? If it is Cherokee it would explain why I cannot have wheat either!

I already avoid sorbitol, corn syrup, wheat. It could be an east coast Indian characteristic.

At least I am in pricing mode. ‘How much more do I have to earn before I can get my pairs of circular needles?’

50/8 ==> at least 6 to 7 needles

3 to 4 total sock sets (8 circulars maximum)

64 dollars is a lot of money! Even with 10% is 57.60 USD

I think a pair at a time is easier on my poor hands!

Computereze is a whole different English language my sons speak and I don't understand what they are saying either. Computer people wouldn't understand knitting language either!

Only if they don’t do handcrafts.
