Patons Knitting Pattern No 576 For in Patons Mohair (Vintage 1960s)Jumpers, Sweaters, Jackets, Cardigans, Stole, Hat, Scarf
The sweater on the woman in this picture is like the sweater I had during the 60s.,but I can't remember what color mine was. I think it was a multicolor and had buttons down the front like a cardigan. But it was warm and we all wore them back then.

Beautiful dogs. I have 4 dogs and two of them won't walk on leashes. One is a Chihuahua and the other is a poodle that when I put on a harness or leash they just sit and won't move.

If only this was true, it would be wonderful. You could have a storage building for your seasonal clothing for when you move or travel also.

Plantar fasciitis is really painfull for sure. I had it many years ago ,and still worked as a Deli Manager. I had to wear a boot I got from the foot doctor, but got used to it. When you get up in am, you must put a shoe on, don't walk barefoot for sure also. anytime. I got my Plantar fasciitis
from repeated turning from slicer to the counter to use the scale to weigh the products I sliced. But wearing the boot sure helped. Maybe she could get something like that from her doctor.

Yes, NancyCrispy I was thinking the same thing , as I have looked at the pattern and several of theirs and thought the same thing. I really like this pattern , it is short sleeve and looked light weight for my aunt. I appreciate all the info and input from everyone, it is a blessing to be able to ask a question and get so many responses from such talented people. I will look for another pattern ,and hopefully I will find one very similar, shortsleeve and light weight. Thank you all again so much.

I saw this
http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/119-1-fly-away

and want to make it , but it has an all wool yarn. Could you tell me if I can use this yarn instead?

Crystal Palace Panda Silk Yarn - 5219 Jungle Calm

I see also that the first yarn is held 2 strands for the pattern. Would I still need to use the 2 strands for this pattern? I need to make at least a 1x or 2x (for my aunt) and she doesn't like snug clothing. Thank you for your help , for some reason I just can't figure it out, is why I am asking the people here whom know a lot more than I for sure about knitting. Thank you very much for all the great info everyone shares on this site.
thanks Myra
