She was lusting to knit him a sweater!
Gripe water used to contain alcohol. My parents did not drink alcohol, probably had no idea they were giving it to their babies. I have a basket like that, love it! Remember the leather bucket bags? Always wanted one of those.

Get to Dr immediately-- Bonnie is right, could be shingles and the med should stop it. See if you've got a red streak in the area where you itch-- that's shingles.
Sure sounds like shingles to me, too. Don’t wait till you get a rash to have the doctor check it. It could also be a pinched nerve that only bothers you when you sit in that position. Either way, best diagnosed sooner than later.
Yep, hate it. I think the idea is to have it stick in your mind, and it does, but I still have no idea what they sell. Same with those ads with the people in white outfits, selling insurance, I think. I can’t shut them off fast enough. I think some companies have inflated advertising budgets. They’d get more clients by lowering their rates and cutting the vanity ads that drive potential customers like me away.
Don’t mind! I’m tickled pink to have such a pretty picture to look at! Congratulations and best wishes to all.
I think you should make her sit diwn and read your post. She might never learn to think beyond herself if no one teaches her how. I hope she does not marry your son, she needs too much alteration herself before she is fit for anything.
We were in the process of moving from one house to another. My husband carried the tv back and forth between houses, plugged in and watched for a few minutes between each trip. Horrible memories, my flesh still creeps to think of the events.
It’s lovely. You could wear it any time to dress up a plain skirt or pants.
Do you want the opening of the pouch accessible from the top or the sides? You can pick up some stitches along the outside of the sweater and knit to the desired depth, either picking up a stitch each side of the length to join as you go, or slip stitching the sides later, for a top opening. For side openings, muff style, do not attach sides as you knit the rows, but either cast off at top and attach by slip stitching along the top edge, or turn the knitting so the inside is facing ypu, and fish each stitch through to attach and cast off on the inside. Easier to do the latter method if you are not knitting in the round. It’s just a rectangle attached on top or bottom, or attached on three sides with top side open.
I know men who wear kilts every day.
Cute, but send him back home for a couple of months!
Sweeney Todd’s barber shop? I should het some Pears, loved the smell.
